EM TEST TSS 500N2F Telecom Surge Generator per FCC part 68

Description

Telecommunication networks are exposed to lightning events. Therefore telecommunication equipment being connected to the outside world need to have appropriate protection to show an acceptable immunity to surge transients in order not to fail in case of lightning events. Telecom Surge Simulators of the TSS 500N series are used to proof the immunity of telecommunications equipment.

The TSS 500N2F is used for Surge A pulse testing and AC power line surge testing as per FCC 97-270 (part 68).

The TSS 500N2F has been developed to represent an easy-to-use test equipment for testing 2-wire applications as per FCC 97-270 (part 68) and generates the Surge A metallic and longitudinal pulses.

The necessary CDNs to connect the telecom ports and the AC power ports are integrated. There is no need to have any external coupling networks for either Telecom ports or Power line testing. Hence install the TSS 500N2F, connect the DUT and start the test.
Pre-programmed Standard Test routines allow highest user convenience. Still the TSS 500N2F offers the Quick Start test routine where parameters can be changed on-line during the test to evaluate the susceptibility level of an individual DUT.
