Description

Steady State Food & Drug Stability Chambers

Blue M’s Steady State chambers are available in four convenient sizes. With workspace sizes of 8, 16, 32 and 58 cubic feet and a variety of temperature and humidity combinations, these chambers provide the flexibility for a wide range of uses. Watlow F4 Controller allows remote and unattended operation in setting up programs and setpoints. The F4 also allows easy control over both temperature and humidity settings in one controller. Common design elements of the chambers allow shelves to be interchanged between different models.

Performance

  • Heating/Cooling Range: 0° C to + 99° C, ± 0.3° after stabilization
  • Heating/Cooling/Humidity Range: 20% to 96% RH, ±2% for relative humidity
  • Humidity Range with Optional Air Dryer: 5% RH at temperatures to +20° C

Controller – Watlow F4

  • -2 Model controlled by a single-channel type
  • -4 Model controlled by a two-channel type
  • Time/ temperature profiling controller that demands ramp and soak applications
  • Programming capability of up to 256 steps in as many as 40 profiles.
  • 16-bit microprocessor
  • Ability to function as a static set point with remote control
  • 100 Ohm Platinum RTD sensor for temperature measurement
  • Dry capacitance type humidity sensor for humidity measurement
  • EIA-232 and EIA-485 serial communications with Modbus RTU protocol

Programmable Logic Relay (PLR)

  • Teco Model SG2-20KR provides enhanced system control, replacing individual mechanical relays
  • Up to 200 lines available

  • 12 AC discrete inputs
